Auction Day

Auction House Auction guide for what to expect on auction day.

Prior to auction day the Auction House catalogues are sent to a considerable number of people as is also available online. The Auction Catalogue will contain your property which will have a 'Lot number' allocated. On the day of the auction each Lot is then described prior to being offered and bided on and finally the sale documentation is signed in the room and a 10% deposit paid.

After the auction and your property has sold

Your solicitor will handle the process thereafter and will be supplied with a notification of sale and the deposit after deducting sale costs. You will then need to:

•Provide vacant possession on completion, unless the property has been sold tenanted

•Make arrangements for key release and

•Cancel your services supplies, insurance etc
